What is Lifestyle Design?

chuckllc:

Have you ever learned something, and then all of a sudden you can’t seem to get it out of your head; it seems like this new thing is all over the place?  For example, you learn that a BMW M3 is actually more fuel efficient than a Toyota Prius (at the Prius’ top speed), and then you walk down the street, and see three different Prius parked along the route you walked.  Then you are at a party, and someone mentions that they are thinking of buying a hybrid.  No matter what you do, or where you go, this new fact keeps popping into your head?

That is sort of what happened to me after I learned about something people are calling Lifestyle Design.  At its core, Lifestyle Design is about making conscious decisions about the way you spend your time money.  This seems pretty simple on the face of it, but it seems to lead to some pretty interesting results.  For example: How much time do you spend at work, thinking about work, getting to work, etc?  “Why, exactly the right amount.  All of my time working is spent doing so gladly, and if I won the lottery today, I would put in the same amount of time in the office the day after as the day before.”  Anyone actually say that?  My guess is no.
